Chris is the owner and founder of RC Homestead Animal Encounters. With a passion for animals, education and creating meaningful experiences, Chris has worked to build a place where families, schools and community groups can connect with animals in a safe, hands-on environment.
From caring for the animals to welcoming guests, Chris is involved in every part of the farm and loves sharing the unique personalities and stories of the animals with visitors.
Void – Farm Favourite
Void is one of the most recognisable goats at RC Homestead. With a big personality and a curious nature, he's always keen to see what's happening around the farm.
Whether he's greeting visitors, looking for snacks or getting himself into mischief, Void keeps everyone entertained and is a favourite among guests of all ages.
Louie – The Lorikeet
Louie is one of the most colourful personalities at RC Homestead. This playful lorikeet loves attention, enjoys meeting visitors and is always ready to investigate what's happening around the farm.
Known for his cheeky nature and curious attitude, Louie often keeps guests entertained with his playful antics. He has become a favourite among visitors and even inspired one of the characters featured in our children's books.
Katelyn is the inspiration behind many of the stories, ideas and adventures at RC Homestead. Growing up surrounded by animals, she has developed a love for caring for them and sharing their unique personalities with others.
As the future owner of RC Homestead, Katelyn enjoys helping on the farm, meeting visitors and creating special memories with the animals. Many of the characters featured in our books are inspired by her real-life experiences with the animals she loves.
Sweet Pea
Sweet Pea is one of the gentle giants at RC Homestead. With her calm nature and friendly personality, she loves meeting visitors and is always happy to enjoy a snack or a scratch.
A favourite during animal encounters, Sweet Pea helps guests experience farm life up close while showing just how gentle and affectionate cows can be.
Piglet
Piglet may be small, but he has a big personality. Friendly, curious and always looking for attention, Piglet loves meeting visitors and exploring everything around him.
Whether he's enjoying a snack, having a nap in the sunshine or making everyone smile with his playful antics, Piglet is a favourite among guests of all ages at RC Homestead.
